![]() Reserved for Voicemeeter veterans, Potato contains five hardware inputs and three virtual outputs. The largest version of the Voicemeeter family is Voicemeeter Potato. ![]() Banana also offers a small library of effects and mixing software. This size mixing desk is usually enough for creators to be able to segregate their audio sources correctly. Voicemeeter Banana is the preferred choice of most content creators, providing three hardware inputs and two virtual inputs. ![]() For many streamers, this is not enough to properly manage their audio, but it’s a great starting point to learn how the software works and handles. The basic Voicemeeter software provides two hardware inputs and only one virtual input. Voicemeeter offers three main versions of its software Voicemeeter, Voicemeeter Banana, and Voicemeeter Potato. Latest stable version of foobar2000 v1.3.11 was released yesterday. What Version Of Voicemeeter Should I Use? Hope this helps if you haven't already figured it out. From there you can select your target samplerate and frequencies you wish to resample. Highlight that resampler and open the Configure selected option above. You should be able to select the resampler and move it to your Active DSPs. Once you have the resampler installed, you can go to preferences in foobar then go down to playback and open DSP Manager. Here is a photo of the basic installation procedure. One option if your DAC max is 96kHz, you can install the following link to foo_dsp_resampler_mod2_0.8.3.zip to address your 192kHz playback issues. From a jukebox standpoint, Roon and JRiver offer a more compelling user interface, yet I still default to my themed foobar player 90% plus of the time. Though foobar has been in my repertoire of players for quite some time, it wasn't until I started using the DarkOne themes that I could appreciate and exploit the player and all of its components easily. Currently I have installed a lifetime subscription to Roon Labs, JRiver, MusicBee, VLC, and a variety of other media players. This is a charming little program.Ĭlick to expand.I definitely agree with Black Elk regarding the DarkOne v4 theme with foobar2000. My audio is being routed via USB to an Akai EIE Pro DAC/Recording interface. Out of Time rip I attemped to play back gave the error, "Sample rate of 192000 Hz not supported by this device." I don't see an obvious way to transcode during playback that wouldn't negate the benefits of "bit perfect" playback. I'm also unable to use ASIO or WASAPI for my audio output with 24-Bit files I've ripped from DVDs. Unable to create an artist column in facets which sorts via the "ArtistSort" tag while displaying the artist tag, similar to the column browser in iTunes - this may be an obvious fix I just haven't found yet. I'm playing with the layout and the settings, but here are the primary issues I've come up against: In an ideal world, I'd like to create something that does everything iTunes manages without iTunes' allergy to FLAC or HD audio and with higher quality playback overall. So, I've been fed with iTunes for an age now and finally started to check out Foobar based on the glowing reviews it seems to get around the web. I haven't found them if they're out there, but maybe I'm using the wrong search terms. ![]() Ok, if any of what I'm going to hit on here has been addressed in other threads, feel free to link me. ![]()
